Your website says you're a leading provider of quality solutions. So does everyone else's.
We write the pages that say what you actually do, for whom, where, and what to do next. The facts come from a 30-minute call with you. A person writes it. If a draft started with software, the draft says so at the top.
Three reasons people send us a blank page
"The designer asked me to send the content."
You've paid for a website and now there's a blank document with your name on it. You know your trade. You don't have a spare weekend to write eight pages about it. We do the call, you do the talking.
"It's all there. It just doesn't say anything."
Written years ago, probably by the last agency. Passionate, professional, client-centred. A visitor still can't tell what you do, which suburbs you cover, or how to book. We rewrite the pages that matter, starting with the one people land on most.
"The ad gets clicks. The page doesn't."
You're paying for every click, and the page it lands on was written for nobody in particular. Ad copy and landing copy written together, so the promise in the ad is the first line on the page. Pairs with landing pages and Google Ads management.
Six things, and how each one earns its place
We don't sell content by the kilogram. Each piece has a job, and if a page won't do a job for you, we'll say so before you pay for it.
One page per thing you do
What it is, who it's for, where you do it, roughly what it costs if you're willing to say, and how to book. Written in the words your customers use on the phone, not the words your industry uses at conferences.
The ten-second version
Someone lands, reads the first line, decides. So the first line names what you do and where, and there's a phone number or booking button before they scroll. Everything else on the home page is a door to a service page.
Headlines and descriptions, in sets
A Google Ads responsive search ad takes up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions. We write the set to match the keywords in that ad group, so "emergency plumber Auckland" gets an ad that says exactly that, with the number in it. Sets from $150.
Short posts, monthly, per location
Hours changing, a new team member, one useful thing about the season. A few sentences with a photo you took. Set up and posted as part of SEO & Google Business Profile, or written standalone if you'd rather post them yourself.
Who's behind the counter
For a clinic or a trade, the about page is the second most-read page on the site. Real names, real qualifications, the year you started, and why. No stock photo of a handshake.
Only when there's a real question
"Does ACC cover this?" "How long does a reroof take?" If customers keep asking it, a 500-word answer is worth writing, and it's a useful page to send people to. If nobody's asking, we won't invent a topic to hit a monthly quota.
A 30-minute call. We ask the questions: what do you do, who calls you, what do they ask, what do you wish they knew before they rang, which suburbs, which days, what does a first visit cost. You talk. We record it with your permission and write from the transcript.
Every fact in the draft traces back to that call or to a page you've already approved. If we don't know something, we ask. We don't fill the gap with something that sounds right.
Four questions, answered in the first paragraph.
Most service pages could be swapped between two businesses and nobody would notice. The rewrite says what you do, for whom, where, and what to do next, before the visitor has to scroll. And it says how it was written.
- The label is real. Every draft you receive carries one of two lines at the top: "started with software, rewritten by a person" or "written by a person from scratch." Drafts that started with software are cheaper, and the quote says so.
- The facts are yours. Suburb, services, hours, phone number, what ACC does and doesn't cover. All from the call. Nothing guessed.
- The doc is yours. Google Doc, in your Drive, comments on. Two rounds of changes included. Take it anywhere.

Call, draft, mark-up, live.
A service page usually takes a week from the call to going live, most of which is waiting for you to read it.
The call
Thirty minutes on the phone or a video call. We ask, you answer. We record it with your permission so we're quoting you, not remembering you.
The draft, labelled
A person writes from the transcript. If software helped with the first pass, line one of the doc says so and the price is lower. Every fact is checked against what you said.
You mark it up
Comments on. Tell us what's wrong, what you'd never say, what we missed. Two rounds of changes are included, and you'll rarely need the second.
It goes live, logged
We paste it into your site, or your designer does. The change log records the page, the date, and how the draft was made. The doc stays in your Drive either way.
Things we won't write.
Some of these get asked for. All of them get sold. Here's the line, and what's on the other side of it.
Per page. Quoted before we start.
A typical service or about page is $250–$400 depending on length and how much checking it needs. Ad copy sets (one responsive search ad, matched to one ad group) from $150. Drafts that start with software are quoted lower, and the quote says which is which. Every page is quoted in writing first.

If a page doesn't need rewriting, we'll tell you. A home page that already says what you do, for whom and where is worth leaving alone. Copy for a full new site is quoted as a set; see websites, where it's usually included. Health and therapeutic claims in clinic copy are checked against the ASA Therapeutic and Health Advertising Code before anything is published.
Before you send the brief
How much of this is automated?+
Some drafts start with software: we feed it the transcript of your call and get a first pass with the structure roughed in. Some start from a blank page. Either way a person rewrites it, checks every fact against what you said, and reads it aloud before you see it.
Line one of every draft says which it was. Drafts that started with software cost less, and the quote tells you that up front. What never happens: software writing a page from nothing but your business name and a list of keywords.
Do I have to do the call?+
Yes. It's where the facts come from. Without it we'd be guessing at what you do and where, and your customers would be able to tell. One call usually covers three or four pages, and it's the only part that needs your time.
Will this help my Google rankings?+
We don't promise rankings, for this or anything else. What we can say is that a page which clearly states what you do and where is a page Google can understand as well as a customer can. If ranking is the goal, that's a different job, and it's on the SEO page. What we won't do is stuff the copy with keywords to chase it.
Can you write in my voice?+
We write in plain NZ English, close to how you talk on the call. You'll see the first draft early, so if it reads like someone else, say so and we'll fix the voice before writing the rest.
I already have copy from another agency. Is it any good?+
Send it. If it says what you do, for whom, where and what to do next, we'll tell you to keep it and save your money. If it doesn't, we'll show you which lines to change, and you can do that yourself or ask us to.
Do you do monthly blog content?+
No. We write the odd post when there's a question your customers actually keep asking, because that page earns its place. We don't sell content calendars, and we won't write four posts a month to hit a number. If you want a steady stream of short updates, Google Business Profile posts are the better tool, and they're part of SEO & Google Business Profile.
